Everyone sets goals at the beginning of the new year, by why wait? The beginning of the season is a great time to set new goals and to decide what you want to accomplish before the ends of the year! 

Here are five things I want to accomplish before the end of the year!

1. Finish decorating my house

2. Try something new where we live

3. Go on a trip with my family

4. Improve physical health (especially during winter months)

1. Keep granola bars in your car

I buy an extra stash of granola bars and keep them in my glove box. That way when I see someone on the street, or asking for food I just hand them a granola bar! It’s such a great way to give back in an easy and meaningful way

2. Drop off flowers at a friend

Do you have a friend who could use some extra love? Dropping off flowers is a simple way to show that you care. Trader Joes has the prettiest flowers, for the best price.

3. Buy RR jewelry 

Every week we donate to a different cause that gives back to others. One of the easiest ways you can help others is getting some jewelry from us! You can enjoy a beautiful piece of jewelry while also knowing that we use your order to help so many people!

We picked a cute little park close to our office!

2. Choose your food

We all love Zupas so it was the obvious choice for our dinner! We ordered Zupas online and it was so easy. Then we did a Target pickup order and ordered a bunch of fruit for a charcuterie board. We also grabbed some bottles of soda, flavorings, and ice for drinks. We are from Utah after all ;) 

3. Gather your supplies.

For the picnic set up, we choose to set up behind some trees in a park. We laid down a waterproof tarp down and then put laid a folding table down. We also put some pillows and a rack under the table to add some height. Then we added a tablecloth and runner. Around the table we placed lots of big pillows!! On top of the table we put vases with flowers from Trader Joes! We also had a cute letter board to add to the summer vibe!! 

4. Take lots of pictures

We asked all the girls to come in dresses so we could take lots of pictures! We even brought a film camera and the pictures turned out so cute. 

We had the most fun summer night! We love our team and are so grateful for each girl who makes Righty Royce possible! 

This Summer flew by and I can’t believe it’s already time to go back to school! It seems like every Summer goes by faster and faster! Here are our best tips for making back to school smooth and stress free! When you take some time before school starts, to prepare you can be set up for success! 

1. Prepare the night before

Something I do every night before I go to bed is get everything I need for the next day! The night before I always lay out my clothes, bag, make my lunch, and get anything else ready I need. Doing this has helped me save so much time in the morning, and made them so much more smooth! 

2. Set Goals for the Year 

I get inspired to make a new school year a good one when I set goals! It’s important that when you make goals you make them realistic and measurable! This helps to keep you accountable, and make sure you are setting goals that will actually help make your school year great! 

3. Plan Before 

Planning is the key to success! I love the quote that says “Plan to fail, and you fail to plan.” This is so true! Before school starts, take some time to plan out your schedule! Decide what your daily schedule is going to look like, and write in your calendar all your important dates and events!

Summer of Self-Love 

While summer is a time for lots of fun in the sunshine, it can also bring up a lot of insecurities about our bodies. The constant pressures we feel from ourselves, and the media about our bodies can be overwhelming. We are constantly bombarded by messages such as the “slim up for summer” or “get your swimsuit body ready.” We’re here to tell you that every body is ready for summer. But, at times it can be hard to believe that. Here are some of our favorite ways to love your body this summer.

1. Exercise  

I always feel more confident when I exercise. Learning to exercise for our bodies, and instead of punishing our bodies is such a powerful thing. Choose to work out to help your body, and feel the benefits. This summer choose exercises and movement that helps your body feel its best. Go on a run or a bike ride with your family. Try a new yoga class, or sign up for a gym membership. The possibilities are endless. 

2. Buy swimsuits that fit and you are comfortable in

How many of us have swimsuits tucked in our drawers just waiting for when we fit into them again?! It’s time to toss those swimmers and buy one that fits properly and you feel comfortable and confident in. It’s also important to buy a swimsuit that you love and think is super cute! You always feel more confident when wearing a cute suit. 

3. Speak kind to your body

Something I think we all have been guilty of is speaking negatively about ourselves and our bodies. We often are our harshest critics. Choose to speak kindly to yourself. One of the best ways to do that is to say positive affirmations to yourself in the mirror. You may feel silly at first, but over time the message will sink in. 

4. Focus on activities that bring joy

Instead of focusing so much on your body, focus and activities and hobbies that bring you joy. Spend some of your extra time on some of the hobbies you’ve put to the side. Focus on all the fun swim parties, BBQs, and spending time with family. Soak it all up! 

5. Only follow positive social media accounts

This is so crucial. If you are following any social media accounts that make you feel less than, it’s time to unfollow. This summer goes through your feed and make sure you are only following accounts that uplift you and help you to love yourself even more. 

We know that at times it can be hard to love the person staring back at you in the mirror. It is so worth it though. We hope as you apply these tips, you can feel more love for yourself. You deserve it!

My personal favorite part of summer! There is nothing better than enjoying a warm summer day with your family and friends.

4. No school

Although the house is significantly louder, it’s nice to have all the kids at home to catch up on some family time!

This time of year we are so ready to pack up the car and head to the beach! Heading out of town is the ultimate way to relax- and create family memories that will last a lifetime. 

What are your favorite part of summer? 

1. Number one on the list is Dole whip and for good reason! Dole whip is one of the most popular treats at Disney and it’s no surprise why. This pineapple creamy treat is the perfect way to cool down on a hot day. You can even ask for raspberry with pineapple dole whip!                                                                 
2. I was a little nervous about trying the blue Star Wars milk, but it really surprised me. It’s a delicious milkshake like treat. A must try!                             
3. Mickey bars are a classic Disneyland treat. What’s better than vanilla ice cream swirled in chocolate dip?! So yummy!                                                    
4. Another classic treat are the Mickey pretzels. These aren’t your average pretzels. They are huge, soft, salty pretzels in the shape of our pal Mickey. I love to dip them cream cheese.                                                                            
5. Last but definitely not least, are the Churros! Disney is known for their delicious Churros made by the California Churro company. They are a must have if you go to Disney and the best Churro you’ll ever have!!

Moms are amazing. Busy moms often don't get the recognition they deserve. Mom's are devoted to their children, but it's important that you take time for yourself to unwind. Here are five easy ways to treat yourself this Mother's Day!

A great way to celebrate Earth Day is to volunteer in your local community! A great way to do that is to volunteer to pick up litter and trash.

5. Plant something 

Earth Day is the perfect time to make the earth a little greener. Planting a tree or some flowers is a great place to start.

6. Buy reusable bags 

Ditch the plastic bags and bring reusable bags with you the next time you head to the store.

7. Start recycling 

Instead of putting your trash in the garbage, put what can be recycled in teh recycling bin! 

8. Reuse everything you can

A lot of everyday items can be reused more than once! Get creative about it! 

9. Buy less

This one is the most challenging for me! But I’m trying to work on only buying quality items over quantity. Doing this simply will help to reduce waste and pollution. 

10. Go outside! 

Lastly, head outside!! Enjoy Earth day by enjoying this beautiful world we have been blessed with! 

As you can see, doing some of these simple things can add up and make a big difference! Whatever you decide to do, make sure it’s a celebration and not a chore! Our world needs more positivity and doing these simple acts daily will help make our world a better place.

Although the wild mood swings of winter may trick us into thinking the icy air will never end, it’s time to emerge from the winter blues! Some of my favorite ways to greet Spring are morning walks, a fresh bowl of seasonal fruit, and planting new flowers!

It’s getting warmer, the days are longer, and the flowers are starting to bloom! That can only mean one thing... Spring is finally here! We’re finally over the long days of winter and it’s time to look forward to a brighter, sunnier, spring. 

The Season of Self-Care

Spring is a time of new beginnings which means it is the perfect time to practice some self-care! Self- care is important year-round, but spring is a great time to start. After a long winter, I need some time to myself to recoup. Self-care is an essential part of caring for yourself and being in the best headspace to then be able to care for others.

Treat Yourself

I always look forward to spring so I can go on long walks now that the weather is nice. The spring weather seems to go fast so make sure to enjoy it. One of the best ways to do that is by leaving your phone at home and unplugging outside! Enjoying the sunshine and fresh air always boosts my mood and puts me in the springtime mood! It’s just one day a year that we can dedicate to our moms to make them feel loved and special, and let them know how much they mean to us.
